Nourishing Minds & Bodies

COMING SOON: THE OAKWOOD KITCHEN

The Kitchen Project

Scheduled to open in the Spring of 2021, Oakwood’s new 1,800 sq ft state of the art kitchen, servery, and dining area is focused on community. The kitchen and servery will be an inviting space for students and faculty to come together and share delicious meals or beverages while exchanging ideas and having fun. It will also be a warm environment for Oakwood to host gatherings with parents, alumni families, and grandparents.

The Kitchen Project
This new community space and kitchen will be an equitable source of quality meals prepared for all students, K-12. Although the kitchen will be housed on the secondary campus, the elementary campus will also be served in the fall of 2021, making the addition of this facility a dramatic enhancement for the entire Oakwood Community.

While students have been away from campus, there's been a tremendous amount of progress on the new kitchen and community space, click here to see construction and building updates, and to learn more about how the food program is shaped by principles of health and sustainability.
